The Rotaract Club of Birmingham and area young professionals will don masks, tuxedos and formal gowns for Rotaract’s annual Masquerade Ball, to be held Saturday, March 19th from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. The glitzy black tie event will take place at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center, a beautiful performing arts center located on the campus of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Passes to the Masquerade Ball may be purchased from any Rotaract member or online. Entry to the event includes light hors d’ oeuvres by Kathy G Catering, wine and beer. A cash bar will also be available.

Rick Carter and the League of Legendary Artists, a Southern soul group, will fill the Alys Stephens Center with sounds of R&B, rock and oldies favorites. LOLA has performed with the likes of The Temptations, The O’jays, The Allman Brothers, Greg Allman, Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson among others. To take a break from dancing, guests will have the opportunity to bid on numerous silent auction items such as signed sports memorabilia, vacations and dining packages to Birmingham’s hottest restaurants. All proceeds will benefit the Rotaract Club of Birmingham Foundation.
